The Dresden startup Wandelbots, for example, is working with its software solutions to simplify the interaction between humans and robots and make robot programming as accessible as possible. Artificial intelligence and machine learning, so to speak, amplify the software effects in mechanical engineering: The Figure video shows where the journey in robotics is headed. The latest AI models have given computers the ability to see. They can now recognize what they see. And thanks to the large language models, they can – if not 'know' in the classical sense – at least quite accurately guess what the instructing humans expect from them.
