If you enter a factory today, you will have to search hard to find a machine without chips and software components. Software and electronics have two significant effects on manufacturing and mechanical engineering: they expand the capabilities of all machines because the machines can be adjusted more precisely and diversely. However, they also increase the complexity of operation. As is often the case, software is also the solution here for the challenges that the use of software can bring.

The Dresden startup Wandelbots, for example, is working with its software solutions to simplify the interaction between humans and robots and make robot programming as accessible as possible.
