Highlights of our Bubbles-and-Bots Event

Several high-profile guests, insightful tech-talks, unique TracePen demos and a fine ambience. That was all we needed to pull off a memorable event and as you would have already expected, it worked!

The 28^th of September was not a regular Monday at the Wandelvilla. We hosted the deputy CEO of Siemens, Roland Busch, and the prime minister of Saxony, Michael Kretschmer, in an event we called ‘Bubbles and Bots’. The event took place at our head office in Dresden. Our partner – Next47 as well as 25 C-Level attendees from global robotics and manufacturing companies were also present at the event. During this event, Roland Busch received the first official  TracePen from our CEO, on behalf of Siemens.

One highlight was the TracePen challenge between Roland Busch and Michael Kretschmer. Each of them drew the shape of Saxony using the TracePen and the robot learned this skill and repeated it on a piece of paper. This means that anyone, from politicians like Micheal Kretschmer to scientists like Roland Busch , can easily use the TracePen without writing a single line of code.

Besides the challenge, there were other TracePen and robot showcases within and outside the building. There was a line-up of exciting activities for all our guests and in-between these activities they could either grab a snack from the buffet themselves or have robots in the external 5G Lab serve them a nice drink!

Through a series of tech-talks on robots and education, augmented robotics, and artificial intelligence, we provided insights about our technology and the future of robotics.

Finally, when the evening was almost over, some of our guests who had no prior robot programming knowledge used our TracePen to teach a robot how to pack up their own gift-boxes.

We certainly left an amazing impression on our guests and this all took place in a healthy atmosphere while promptly observing all the COVID-19 regulations.
