Robot programming is no longer for experts alone. With Wandelbots Teaching, everyone on your shop floor can teach all robots new processes – with just one easy-to-use app

Introducing Wandelbots Teaching
TracePen
TracePen
Ergonomic Input Device
The TracePen is the Wandelbots Teaching input device – like a computer mouse for industrial robots. You need just a few seconds to demonstrate new robot processes and record them at the same time. The variety of tips makes the TracePen like familiar manual tools e.g.: a welding gun.

How Wandelbots Teaching Works
Teach all your robots in three simple steps and with only one interface

STEP 1
Demonstrate and record even complex robot paths in seconds
Using the TracePen, it is very easy to map a path right on the workpiece – e.g., a new weld seam for a robotic welding process. This is as intuitive as a computer mouse and feels like the manual tool in the hand.
Features
- Demonstration and recording of single points or complex paths
- Various tool tips similar to manual tools, e.g. a welding gun tip
- Automatic sensing and recording of tool orientation and speed
- Exact path recording defined in mm (1:1 mapping on the workpiece)
- AI-based detection of motion type and smart overlays/blendings

STEP 2
Edit robot paths as easy and joyful as never before
Transform complicated and always different robot control panels into history and use the unified Wandelbots Teaching interface for all robots to create and edit even complex robot processes without any programming skills.
Features
- Uniform easy-to-use interface for all robots
- Intuitive path and point editing (e. g., add, delete, refine, etc.)
- Speed control and adjustment after recording
- Live control for I/O signals (input/output)
- Process/path editing via 3D visualization
- Real-time testing of taught processes

STEP 3
Run the new robot process and apply it to all robots
With Wandelbots Teaching you no longer need to think about complex and different robot programming. The software automatically generates the right and safe code for all robots at your production line.
Features
- No-Code Robotics (automatic code generation without robot programming/without robotic experts)
- Compliance with current safety standards and legal requirements
- Compatibility with the individual infrastructure
- Flexible and accelerated implementation and adaptation of new automation processes
