Bringing Robotics to Life: How Wandelbots Leverages NVIDIA Isaac Sim to Bridge Simulation and Reality

At Wandelbots, we're committed to reshaping how industries interact with robots, making programming more intuitive and accessible to all. With our innovative software platform and using NVIDIA technologies, we’re creating a seamless connection between virtual simulations and real-world robotics. By leveraging NVIDIA Isaac Sim, we empower companies to take full advantage of robotics technology, helping ensure precise, efficient deployment from simulation to physical execution.

Revolutionizing Robotics: How Wandelbots Brings Virtual Programming to Life with NVIDIA Omniverse

Our vision is to democratize robotics by simplifying robot programming for everyone—whether you're a developer or a factory planner. A key enabling component of this is NVIDIA Isaac Sim — a robotics developer platform and reference application, built on the NVIDIA Omniverse platform and OpenUSD, for designing and testing robots in physically accurate simulations. Isaac Sim allows us to simulate complex robotic tasks with exceptional accuracy, helping ensure that what is built virtually can seamlessly translate to the real world.

Leveraging  Isaac Sim jointly with the Wandelbots platform, users can create, test, and refine their robot programs, saving time and resources that would otherwise be spent on manual adjustments. It’s a game-changer for industries like manufacturing, where precision and efficiency are crucial.

Bridging the Gap Between Simulation and Reality

A key element in this process is to transfer robot programs directly to physical robots. Traditionally, this process would require extensive reprogramming and adjustments, especially when leveraging different robot models from various robot manufacturers. However, with Wandelbots, users can transfer robot programs seamlessly, ensuring that the robots function in the physical world just as they did in the simulation. This minimizes costly errors and reduces downtime.

Our robotics software allows users to directly connect with Isaac Sim to control virtual robots. Features such as "Ghost Objects" simplify the programming process. Factory planners, even those with no prior robot programming experience, can visually position these ghost objects in the simulation and instantly transfer that information into a robot program.

Real-World Impact

Our integration of NVIDIA technologies has already shown immense value across various sectors. In manufacturing, companies can confidently simulate their workflows within Isaac Sim, optimize tasks, and transfer those simulations to physical robots. This drastically reduces the time spent on deployment while increasing operational efficiency.

Small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have particularly benefited from this approach, where the ability to streamline production processes through robot simulations has led to improved consistency.

Looking Ahead

At Wandelbots, our focus is not just on the present—we’re building the future of robotics. Bridging the gap between virtual and physical robot programming is critical as industries continue to evolve. As we move forward, our goal remains to enable robotics to be as intuitive and approachable as possible, paving the way for more widespread adoption and innovation across industries. Wandelbots is setting the new standard for the future of robotics.

Please mark your calendars: November 4th is our official product launch date. If you couldn't attend our launch event, join us in Nuremberg for SPS November 12-14th
